On September 25th, we hosted over 50 strategic suppliers and, in the afternoon, held our first company convention. Here is what was discussed.
In July, with our first Sustainability Report, “The mark we leave”, we made a commitment: to pay closer attention to those who contribute to Gambini’s growth, both inside and outside the company. On September 25th, that commitment took the form of a full day, divided into two sessions that shared the same message.
A morning with the partners
Representatives from over 50 companies collaborating with Gambini across various stages of production, including local machine shops, software providers, assembly specialists, logistics partners, and manufacturers of specialized components, arrived at our plant. The group included long-standing partners, as well as newer companies that have distinguished themselves.

Following opening remarks by Nicola Romagnani (Marketing & Product Manager), CFO Nicoletta Menchelli outlined Gambini’s current profile, covering the last five years of global expansion, the financial figures and a forecast for the coming years. She noted that, as the company scales up, our expectations for the supply chain evolve accordingly.
COO Enrico Fruzzetti then presented the strategy for the next three years, built on process standardization and aligned with our core values: “Digitalization, supply chain integration, skills development and quality; but, above all, the sustainable and efficient development of the supply chain”.
Supply Chain Manager, Luca Gagliardi, explained how we have reorganized our procurement flow, the criteria used to select strategic suppliers and our environmental and social expectations from them, all in line with our Sustainability Report program.
The first session concluded with Marco Petrelli, our new Quality Manager, presenting the “Vendor Rating” system, “a crucial tool based on objective data”. It will be used to evaluate key supplier performance in a structured manner, fostering mutual improvement and growth.

At 11:50am, the floor was given to the event sponsors, SACE, Intesa Sanpaolo, Lucense, and Consorzio QUINN, each of whom had fifteen minutes on stage and a dedicated booth in the hall, in order to engage directly with the attending companies.

An afternoon with colleagues
In the afternoon, we gathered with employees from our Italian facilities for our first company convention: as our team has grown, so too has the need to communicate our corporate strategy in a unified way.

We therefore dedicated some hours to aligning the entire company on our recent history, the ongoing changes and the future outlook. The event turned into a pleasant opportunity for us to meet and exchange ideas.

Two distinct occasions, sharing the same starting point: the quality of what we offer depends on the people who work with us every day, both within the company and throughout the supply chain.
