Thanks to its Research & Development department, TissueHub, Gambini has introduced wet embossing, a revolutionary system that first wets and then heats the paper. This is a new flexible embossing methodology, capable of being applied to several types of use to achieve unique results, in every market and for every business need.

The opening of the plant in Brazil is an important step, not only for the diffusion of Gambini technologies, but also for companies in the paper sector that, until now, could rely only on a single local producer. The scope of Gambini’s arrival in a de facto monopolistic market is revolutionary: the company will offer a real and tangible alternative, particularly suitable for the Latin American market, thanks to the flexibility of its technologies.

The new 2,500 square meter facility will be built at the Perini Business Park in Joinville, Santa Catarina. The Perini Business Park is the main hub dedicated to Tissue research in Brazil, a dynamic and highly innovation-oriented area.

The news was officially announced by President Giovanni Gambini during a convention held at the Pestana Hotel in San Paolo.
