Strip tension control with magnetic brake

The magnetic brake guarantees long-lasting paper tension adjustment without the need for frequent adjustment interventions. Furthermore, the paper tension is set via HMI and this guarantees that it can be modified only by authorized personnel. In addition, this set point value is part of a product recipe that can be recalled according to the needs.

Strip gluing upgrade

The system consists in the installation of a high-temperature strip heating system in case it is necessary to work with the coremaker above 80 m/min.
The heater is placed between the glue dispenser and the strip winding mandrel.
This new system brings the following advantages:
– Increase in production speed with the same raw materials
– Performance is more independent of the cardboard quality
– Performance is more independent of the glue type

It stabilizes the quality of the various cardboards resulting in the ability to obtain constant production speed and quality.

Log Loader

Second log loader driven log discharge

The system consists in a modification of the log loaders model 80.50/4 and 80.51/4, providing for the installation of auxiliary belts for the movement of the logs coming from the accumulator and lying on the plane of the log loading carousel on the log saw. The goal is to prevent the logs from remaining on the surface without rolling towards the loading bucket.
This happens when the logs are soft and easily ovalized, so they find it difficult to roll down pushed only by the force of gravity.
This new system avoids the logs being blocked on the loading surface and the consequent emptying of the log saw’s loading carousel.

Recommended for those who work with low sheet count products– it allows you to eliminate machine downtimes (it reduces downtime in production to zero).

HMI Perforation Gap Adjustment

With this Technical Upgrade KIT the operator will have the possibility to adjust the perforation blades gap from the panel and while the machine is running.

Positive transfer upper roll replacement

The modification consists in eliminating the paper stop system and replacing the upper winding roll with the new model equipped with movable inserts.

The aim of the kit is to have a more efficient and reliable exchange with a short and precise bend.

Furthermore, the modification allows you to reduce the number of parameters to be set to make machine adjustment operations based on the product easier.

High performance logs ejector

The aim of this kit is to get a more effective management of the system that stops the logs exiting the rewinder, to release them, in a “gentle” manner, towards the tail sealer.
This unit replaces the system which used a mobile bulkhead, with the surface covered with soft material.
The new system aims at better stopping and cushioning the log expelled from the winding rolls of the rewinder: this avoids deformations and allows to better process the log by the tail sealer.

Recommended for those who work with low sheet count products– it allows you to work at higher speeds, improves the line efficiency and the quality of the end product (the product does not become oval).

Cliché roll thermal cam

This KIT was created to solve the problem of frequent damage to the rolls as a result of glue flow problems in the doctor blade. The aim is to avoid that the lack of glue in some areas of the cliché roll leads to overheating of those areas, with consequent damage to the rubber surface with which it is covered.

Increased safety and reduction of machine downtime and of damage to the cliché rolls – as a result, reduction of costs.

Water lamination KIT

This kit allows you to carry out the plies’ gluing process without glue and with the sole use of water.

This is valid only for 2- or 3-ply toilet tissue products. The modification allows the anilox roll with increased capacity to rotate at the speed of the paper without sliding, as instead happens when using glue.

Increased quality of the finished product, reduction in costs for chemicals and reduction of dust contamination in the process (carbon footprint for fewer chemicals).
